Phone Interface Module
It is
very convenient and inexpensive to use a conventional or cordless phone
as an interface and communication part for your system. The examples of
such applications are private mobile radio interconnects, home
automation and the point of sale systems.
The Phone Interface module allows you to connect any standard phone
equipment, such as a wired or cordless phone or PBX, to your
microprocessor system. The module supports all functions of the station
side of a phone line, including the generation of the line and the ring
voltages and the two way DTMF signaling.
The board is controlled by the SPI interface and requires the one
power source of +9 to 12V. The audio input and output are the analog
signals.
