The modern audio system
consists of many independently controlled units: amplifiers, equalizers,
crossover filters, compressors, etc. The communication network controls
the whole audio system from the operator console. Custom networking
protocol was designed to transfer the control and status information.
Each device can be controlled independently or combined with the other
devices into a jointly controlled group. The network supports
Plug-and-Play and can operate by wired or wireless interface.
